Product Profiles

HOTSUN manufactures reliable straight wedges designed for aluminium formwork and modular concrete construction systems. Made from quality Q235, 16MN, or 45# carbon steel, each wedge features a flat tapered body, a convenient round hanging hole at the wide end, and a formed longitudinal reinforcing slot. Common thicknesses range from 2.5mm to 3.5mm, including the widely used 3mm x 70mm specification. Driven easily into stub pin slots by hand, the wedge draws adjoining formwork panels tightly together to ensure vibration-resistant, gap-free joints during concrete pouring, while also pairing effectively with waler clamps, tie rods, and alignment brackets. Available in clean silver, yellow zinc, and black finishes, our wedges can be supplied in chain-linked sets and customized according to technical drawings or project samples, delivering dependable hardware solutions for global contractors and formwork rental distributors.
